ACNH: Brewster and his The Roost cafe has finally been confirme

  • The long-awaited arrival of Brewster and his The Roost cafe has finally been confirmed for Animal Crossing: New Horizons! A brand new update has just been confirmed for the game, and it will introduce both Brewster and his The Roost cafe to the game! An exclusive sneak peek of The Roost on the second floor of the Museum was revealed during today's Nintendo Direct presentation, along with news of a free update coming in November that will include the return of the Brewster character and other new features.

In our brief glimpse, the first day on the island of Animal Crossing New Horizons, Roost will be open around the clock inside the Museum and will prominently display an icon of Brewster on a sign near the entrance, according to what we saw during our very brief preview. To get to it, you'll need to climb the stairs in the Museum, which are located near the Art Gallery, which was added in a previous version. It is not necessary to wait until November to learn more about this exciting and long-awaited update, as Nintendo has confirmed that an Animal Crossing Items-specific Nintendo Direct will be held sometime during the month of October next month.

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons television series has not yet been given a specific premiere date. Nintendo Direct will be announced at a later date, but it is safe to assume that the November update will be significant if the company is producing an entire presentation for it rather than just another short update trailer, as they have done in the past with other updates. To be more specific, the November update teaser that was shown on screen during the Nintendo Direct advertises that ‘New Free Content’ will be available in November, and it includes a photo of returning character Brewster, as well as the words ‘and more!’

Lastly, there was one more exciting piece of news that was completely absent from the Nintendo Direct and was only revealed after the presentation by the official free ACNH bells Twitter accounts: a new Series 5 of official Animal Crossing Amiibo Cards will be released soon! However, while specifics on the new 5th series of cards will be revealed at a later date, it is safe to assume that the eight new villagers introduced in Animal Crossing: New Horizons who did not have amiibo cards will finally receive their due in this new series of cards.

Beyond that, given the announcements of a special Direct and new amiibo cards, it's easy to imagine some entirely new villagers joining Animal Crossing: New Horizons with the November Update. However, for the time being, this is only a wild guess. An overview of the four main points in Animal Crossing can be found below in brevity;Among the New Horizons-related announcements made today during the Nintendo Direct:

As part of a free content update, The Roost, as well as Brewster, will be available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
In addition to Brewster, the new content update will include additional new content in the months of November and December 2021. More information on the new update will be revealed during a special Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Direct that will air sometime during October 2021, with a specific air date to be announced shortly after that.

A new Series 5 of Animal Crossing Amiib0 Cards will be released at some point in the near future, as was announced later on Twitter. We'll have more information about this when it's available.
